“ 10/10 recommend the pork angry dumplings. The pictures on the internet don't do justice to how good they are! ”
“ If I could give this place more stars, I would. 5 just isn't enough. The food was absolutely delicious. Best dumplings I have ever had 100%!! And I consider myself quite the dumpling addict. The wrapping was so tender and had the perfect chew and the filling was packed full of pork and spices. Definitely recommend the "angry" dumplings if you love spicy and extra yumminess! This will for sure be a regular stop for me. ”
“ Absolutely amazing food. We got all the sauces! We met the owner/chef. He was so kind. It's a great menu with something for everyone. The broths were all super fresh and made with love. We will be back! ”
“ Food is plentiful and the dumplings are filled! The wonton soup is delicious! Can't say enough of this place. Service is great, they explained the menu thoroughly. Can't wait to go back. ”
“ The service was 10/10, the owner and chef, Jason came out to speak with each customer while we were there. But additionally, the food was amazing! He described the wonton soup as a Pho broth with Chinese additions to the soup. We enjoyed getting to know the owner and the food was so good for an affordable price. We will return the next time we're in town! ”
“ Lived in Japan for several years and this is the best boba in Knoxville. Grandpa noodles are delicious. Also if you get shrimp in anything, you get big fat shrimp, none of those tiny little shrimp. I got nearly every week! ”
“ Such kind owners and my favorite Asian restaurant in Knoxville! Love the angry dumplings and pork buns. ”
“ Wow. Happy to have finally tried this tasty gem. It boasts a small interior with a somewhat quirky decor style. Random, mismatched tables and chairs and a bar are ready for you to plop down and chow. Super cool murals on the walls and a cozy couch in the back (near their random cluttered desk they presumably do business on?). There is a straw, plastic ware, and condiment station for doctoring up your bobas and entrees. A chili based sauce and the house sauce (holy moly this is good!) are awaiting little plastic cups. We ordered BBQ pork buns (3 in an order), Grandpa's noodles, pork dumplings (3 in an order), and Masaman curry with chicken. As the name suggests, the dumplings are the star. I was thrilled one came in my noodle bowl, too. The pork buns we would not get again (pretty dry and not soft and fluffy as we are used to elsewhere). The curry was fine but there are better spots for that in town. The service, noodles and dumplings will definitely bring us back. ”
“ What a pleasant surprise in Knoxville! We ordered grandpa's noodle, a set of dumplings, red curry with chicken, savory buns, and custard buns! All great! The beer pieces in the noodle are so tender! Dumplings had toppings that are crunchy, and the mayo just made them taste better! The owner and his family are super friendly! Jason is so easy to talk to and you can tell he is so passionate about his food, and introducing Chinese food to the local community. Definitely will be back! ”
“ Really enjoyed the warm Grandpa's Noodles and the Chicken Dumplings in this cold weather. Place was neat and have a cute interior where you can think students will come by after their school. The service was fast and easy. Lady and the guy we've met was approachable and checked on us to see if everything comes up good. The grandpa's noodle comes with warm broth, udon noodles, a dumpling and really soft beef meat. I feel like it's one of those comfort food that we usually crave. The broth is rich in flavor (similar in Taiwan). Surely recommended and worth the stop! ”
